Neurological Rehabilitation:
Planning for an unexpected life
Our approach can be a powerful tool for those who are in recovery following a brain injury, or stroke or managing a long-term neurological condition, to help regain their independence.
Bespoke Monitoring
Cyril has been designed in collaboration with NHS colleagues, utilising smart sensor technology to transmit data to clinicians in real time. Our data modelling can help highlight areas of concern in an individual’s behaviour, health or well-being, by identifying anomalies in patterns learnt over an initial 72-hour period. Data is collected using a combination of discreet sensors placed throughout the client’s home, the system also integrates with various smart and telehealth devices, blood pressure monitors and thermometers.
The data captured can be defined and prioritised on a case-by-case basis. When combined with Occupational Health experts, and bespoke rehabilitation programmes, any changes in regular patterns, shown in real-time, will alert clinicians so that they can intervene if required, or alter the care plan. Restoring independence We balance technology, with human intelligence, placing control back in the hands of those who need it. Identifying and monitoring the behaviours and activities that are most relevant in an individual’s rehabilitation, will give clear focus to the data and the way in which this is used to drive positive action and improvement. Cyril’s unique combination of data sources enables a variety of practical activities to be monitored, such as:
-
Getting in and out of bed.
-
Using the bathroom
-
Getting up and dressed
-
Cooking or preparing food and drinks
-
Accessing medication Moving around the house
-
Leaving the house
We want to give independence back, with intuitive care, delivered at just the right time.
